Things have been a little busy around my house and I’ve been VERY bad about sharing my shopping successes with you here. Last night, I had a pretty spectacular stock up night and I just HAD to brag.
Since I’ve been working on my stockpile, my “need” list has been shrinking. My pantry is full and I’ve gotten almost everything I need for the kids to have well rounded, and interesting, lunches for the foreseeable future. Now I’m just working on growing out the stock pile so that there is a diverse selection and we won’t get tired of eating the same stuff over and over. I may need some help in this endeavor, as we have tons of pasta now! Any really fabulous ideas for pasta that don’t involve spaghetti sauce? Please share them in the comments.

How did you get double coupons at Publix? I used to work there, and we didn’t do that. Is this something new?

Really? I don’t know if it’s new. All of the ones near where I live double coupons up to $.50 … likely because they are so close to Kroger, which also doubles coupons.

Congrats! Major shopping trips usuing coupons are a lot of work, but your results are fab. I love it when I have a day shopping like this…makes you wonder why so many never take the time when the payoff is so high.
Keep up the good work!
