Shopping Tips – And a SNOOPY DANCE

by Momma · 4 comments

I broke my normal routine for shopping this weekend. Yesterday, I hit Walgreen’s because they had some fabulous sale items last week that I didn’t pick up and wanted to get before the new sale started. Tonight, I hit CVS and Publix. I normally do all of my shopping on Monday, but today I just wanted to get the bulk of it finished, and we were out of some needed items.

This weekend has been a learning experience for me and I wanted to share the few tips I picked up with you.

Walgreen’s – If you use your Register Rewards on items that are supposed to print more RRs, the new RRs won’t print. This didn’t happen to me, but the really awesome cashier told me that so that I wouldn’t miss out on some RRs that were supposed to print for me on another transaction.

CVS – I learned that if the cashier gives you a hard time about the coupons, you tell to the cashier that you have already confirmed their corporate coupon policy and are happy to wait while they call to verify this, they will shut up and scan your coupons.

Publix – I learned that if you are stacking store coupons and manufacturer’s coupons, the cashier must scan the manufacturer’s coupons first. If the cashier scans the store coupons first, the Manufacturer’s coupon will give a “Number of Coupons Exceeds Number of Items Purchased” error message.

And now for the snoopy dancing!!!!! I woke up this morning and saw that I have 101 subscribers. I’m officially over 100!!! *SNOOPY DANCE*

There aren’t enough words for how giggly I have been since I saw that. I’m glad you’re here and I’m glad you’re reading. I sure hope you stick around a while and maybe share your thoughts.
