This Week’s Shopping Results

by Momma · 0 comments

I drove to 7 different stores and gas stations on Sunday to find my coupons. In a bizarre twist of fate, the Sunday paper in my area (The Atlanta Journal Constitution!!!) had NO sales papers. NO inserts. No coupons. I can’t find a reason for it, but there you go. I have no coupons for the weekend of November 9th. If anyone wants to share, send them to me ;)

Without my $.01 coupon for Publix (sigh…) I went to do my shopping. Since I’ve been stockpiling, my list of needs is nearly non-existent. I picked up some really fantastic deals though!

The best part of my night wasn’t actually the shopping. A really sweet couple wished me a “keep warm!” as I was coming out of Publix to go to Kroger. Once inside Kroger, I ran into them again several times. We even got to chat for just a second about our money saving methods before we both had to whisk away to finish our shopping, but not before I gave them my business card and wrote the address to the blog down for them. This frugality thing has opened up doors for conversations I would never have had before. I find that very exciting.

So, if you’re that very adorable couple that I was stalking in Kroger… thanks for the smile! I hope you’re reading.  Oh, and give The Grocery Game a try (be sure and tell them momma at 3princessesmomma.com sent you!).

Publix:
