Honeymoon Christmas

Mark and I have a Bi-Annual Honeymoon Christmas. What does that mean, exactly? It means that my half of our children are with their father… and his half of our children are with their mothers this Christmas day. It’s just going to be us and the dogs.

This year, we’re going to decompress from the stress that has been the year 2008. We’ll sleep late, drink good coffee, eat junk food, and snuggle on the sofa watching cheesy Christmas movies. Maybe we’ll hit a movie theater and get Chinese food for dinner. Maybe we’ll just stay under the covers all day and play with the puppies.

Please remember to take time for yourself during the chaos that comes from the entertaining and expectations of the season. Relax when you can. Remind yourself how wonderful you are! Get enough rest.
