I got some really great suggestions for my next Do It MYSELF Project, and some that probably aren’t very reasonable. I loved them all though, and may even try to sneak in some of the ones that weren’t all that frugal 
. Anyway… I’ve narrowed it down to 5 suggestions. They are:
- Homemade Soap – Submitted by Heather
- Root beer – Submitted by Michelle and Anita
- Deodorant – Submitted by Laura
- Dishwasher Detergent – Also submitted by Laura
- Wine – Foolishly suggested by me.. and pounced on by Jules and Alicia
I’ve placed the poll on the top right side of the page, and wish everyone luck! As stated in the contest post, Momma’s Next Do It Yourself Project, I will send a portion of the finished product to whoever’s idea wins. So, the more folks you send over to vote for your idea, the better your chances are of getting some of the benefits of my hard work!

I am, of course, voting for the soap making. I will say, however, that being the daughter of Steve the brewmaster, I’ve been party to vinting wine before… if you don’t have your own grapes, its really just a mix stir wait kind of situation. And it’s not cheap

Okay, I totally skipped root beer the first three times I read the list. Of course Jules and I are going to suggest wine. We are close enough to come to your house for the tasting! I think root beer would be great – (also for the tasting, not because it’s all about me or anything…) but I voted for soap. Maybe I’m just tired and still have 482 things to do, but I have the impression soap is more “instant gratification” than root beer.
