What a fantastically encouraging post!!! Unfortunately I seem to alienate most of my friends, family and coworkers with my money saving ideas and knowledge. Thankfully the people I speak with in my volunteer service still want my opinion and help!
I am going to pass on the laundry recipe to my sister, though, she’ll appreciate it.

Love your blog!!! I too have problems talking to my husband about “money” issues, so I am going to try to write things down to him. It is especially hard because I do all the shopping, take care of the checkbook and pay the bills. Quite frustrating moreso than not. Anyways, I am intrigued by the “homemade laundry detergent”. I tend to buy ours at BJS Wholesale Club, which accepts multiple coupons, so that in itself is a savings, though homemade, that would definately save our family of 5 much more. Can you help me out with your “recipe”??? Thanks, a daily reader…

I love that your our resident expert. I love that when I shop thoughtfully and well I know you’ll be as excited about it as I am. Watching you and Wes suceed during such hard times gives us all hope, regardless where we are on our own financial journey.
