CVS Deals I’m Taking Advantage Of

by Momma · 1 comment

I’m not so much the hard core Drugstore Gamer. I seize the deal at CVS or Walgreens for only two reasons:

  1. I can get the item for free, or make a profit on it (no matter what the product)
  2. It’s a better deal than I can get anywhere else

This week, here are the deals I’m planning to score:

  • $1.25 Russell Stover Private Reserve Chocolates – (reg $3.29) Sale $2.50 w/ BOGO Coupons in the 11/9 Smartsource
  • FREE Extreme Energy 6 Hour Shot – (reg $4.99) with $4.99 ECB – One Per Customer (OPC)
  • FREE EARinse Ear Cleansing Spray – (reg $7.99) with $7.99 ECB – Limit 2
  • FREE Cvs Children’s Chewable Aspirin – (reg $1.99) with $1.99 ECB – OPC
  • FREE Stayfree Pads – (reg $3.99) BOGO Coupons in the 1 /4 RedPlum and $2 ECB for each – Limit 5
  • PROFIT L’Oreal Revitalift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Towelettes (reg $6.99) Sale $5.99 w/ $2.00 off in the 1 /4 Redplum and $10 ECB with purchase of 2. Limit 2 (4).
    • Ok, let me break this one down for you. Buy 2 items at $5.99
    • Use 2 $2.00 off coupons
    • Spend $7.98
    • Receive $10 ECB back for your next transaction.
    • Profit of $2.02
    • **This scenario can work up to 2 times for a max of $4.04 in profit. (How do you think I’m getting the chocolate?? Hehe)
  • FREE Excedrin On The Go – (reg $2.49) with $2.49 ECB – OPC

I have $20 of ECB left from previous trips to roll into this transaction, so I should only come out of pocket a few cents to make these deals work. If you want a really easy way to get started at CVS or WalGreens, go to www.mypoints.com and sign up to read their emails and shop through them (if you shop online) then redeem your points for free gift cards to CVS and WalGreens. That’s how Momma does it.

Wow, that is awesome! I remember seeing a tv show where a woman would basically feed her family of five for free by working the points, coupons and rebates every week. It was almost like a full time job and she had to get creative making meals with whatever was on sale, but she saved hundreds of dollars every week.

I’m totally going to head down to CVS and work some of these.
